This months Full Moon lands very close to the spiritual gateway known as 11/11 – a magical time for manifesting your highest potential. Exciting! Full Moons are about releasing that which no longer serves you so that you can clear the way for that which truly does.

Our November Full Moon is on the auspicious date of the 13th of November, occurring in a wee hours of the 13th at her most fullest. She is in the sign of Earthy Taurus and brings with her the aspects that the sign of the bull is know for; Strength, Stability, Focus and Grounding. Being a Earth sign it would be a good idea to touch base with our Earth Mama, take a walk with your feet bare (if you dare, the ground is still quite chilly in the Southern Lakes!) or just stand somewhere surrounded by Nature and let your feet kiss the Earth in thanks for all that she provides us with. It is powerful to connect with the aspects of stability we have in our lives and to be reminded that we are safe, and we are right where we are meant to be at all times.

Spend the day being mindful of the Earth, Nature and your own personal grounding. As we move into the night and Mama Moon makes her appearance you may begin to honor her with your own ritual. Remember to begin by placing your crystal collection outside to be cleansed and recharged by the moonlight. Smudge yourself and your home with Sage or Paulo Santo (being mindful that you are using sustainable Paulo Santo as there has been huge issues around greed of this beautiful wood). You can cleanse with incense as well, just make your intention clear by saying either out loud or to yourself, “I cleanse this space and my energetic body, asking for a higher vibration to be present, as a protective force for the month to come.”

Celebrating the Full Moon is a unique and personal experience. It can also be shared with like minded or curious, open minded friends. This month I have choosen to hold a Full Moon Circle at my home with some of my closest and most supportive woman friends. 2019 has been a wild ride for many of us and as we near the end of this year, here is the opportunity to celebrate how far we have come, to acknowledge the work we have put in and to lighten up and have some fun.

Taurus reminds us that we truly are worthy of a beautiful life. Taurus enjoys the finer things in life so now is a great time to treat yourself to a massage, a new book, a bubble bath or whatever floats your boat and makes you feel abundant and sensual. Yes, Taurus also likes passion and sensuality so make the most of that this week and surprise your partner with a date or take yourself out on one.

This moon brings forth an high energy of abundance so it is also a good time to focus on finances, seeing where you can be more careful with your budget or pursuing ways of making extra moolah. Its all there for the taking, you just need to be reminded that you are worth it!

Once you have laid the ground work for your night of Full Moon ritual (the space is cleansed, the crystals are out) take a long bath if you can or a shower if you are short on time and imagine yourself being washed clean of all the stress and frustrations that have built up this month. Fill yourself up with a pure golden white light, connecting in with your divine nature. You can simply do this by visualizing the light pouring in stating from your crown chakra (top of your head). Lovingly douse your body in beautiful oils and moisturizers, clothe yourself in your finest silk robe or whatever you feel best in and settle in to journal, meditate, process, reflect and Let Go.

I always enjoy cracking a bottle of bubbles and toasting the Full Moon, along with something sweet to eat. I leave out a portion and a glass for Mama Moon, alongside my crystals. You can get as creative as you want with your set up, I often end up making a bit of an alter with candles and the like. Before closing the ritual for the evening, I encourage you to make a list of all the crap you feel is holding you back, doubts or fears around lack and burn it baby. I use a clay pot especially for this purpose. It is stashed in among my lavender bush. Read the shit list out loud before (safely) setting it alight and placing it in the pot to burn. The faster and easier it burns, the more willing you are to let go. It may take many moons fyi, all of it is progress so go gentle on yourself. I always see examples of my shit list cropping up in my life in the days following so pay attention to what is being shown to you.

Lastly, get your wild woman witch on and find some soul stirring beats to blast, I will put on something that truly calls to me and feels powerful and enlivening. I will dance around my lounge or back yard shaking off all the frustrations and pent up anger so that I close the evening feeling spent, relaxed and happy. And ready to move forward into the next moon cycle with my highest potential at the helm.
